Lindy Electronics have announced a USB 3.0 multi-card reader that provides SuperSpeed access to a range of memory cards. The device has slots for five different kinds of card, including Compact Flash, Memory Stick, SD, microSD and xD; and supports both UDMA-compliant CF cards as well has high-capacity SDXC memory cards. Backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 the card reader includes a 1m USB 3.0 cable, and sells for a recommended retail price of £24.99 including VAT.

Support for Fast Memory Cards with New LINDY USB 3.0 Multi-Card Reader
Stockton-on-Tees, UK (7th October 2011) – LINDY Electronics announced today a USB 3.0 Multi-Card Reader that provides SuperSpeed access to a range of memory cards. Transferring images, downloading video couldn’t be easier, simply connect the reader to a computer’s USB 3.0 port and move files at rates of up to 5Gbps.
A stylish white and grey design with five different slots, the LINDY USB 3.0 Multi-Card Reader can access the most popular, latest memory cards on the market, including fast memory cards such as SDXC and CF UDMA at the highest capacities. Older favourites such as Compact Flash, SD and Mini SD are also supported.
