Nissin Press Release
Nissin Di700 flash gun previewed at Focus on Imaging
Kenro, the official UK distributors of
Nissin Flash Guns, gave Focus visitors a first-look at the Nissin
Di700, a new second-generation advanced flash gun, ahead of its official
UK launch in the coming months.
The new enhanced flash gun comes with a
range of innovative functions all designed with the photographer’s
needs in mind. The Di700 model has increased to 24-200mm from its
predecessor and can achieve a maximum output of GN50 at 200mm. Compared
with same-level flashes from other brands, the Nissin Di700 can create a
variety of light changes, giving the photographer a wider range of
option whilst shooting.
Nissin have also developed a new
rotating lock release button feature for greater versatility. The model
supports 180° horizontal rotation to the right and left, tilts up to 90°
and expands 7° downwards, making it ideal for close-up photography.
What’s more, the Nissin Di700 is the
only flash in its category equipped with an external power socket.
Operating with the new Nissin Power Pack PS 8 can greatly shorten the
recycling time and increase number of flashes, which is further
reinforced by its impressive synchronization, supporting up to 1/8000
second shutter speed, perfect for incredible wildlife and action
photography.
For maximum practicality, Nissin has also added sockets for PC sync and 3.5mm sync for studio lighting system connection.
