Cosina Voigtländer have announced an ultra-fast manual-focus portrait lens for Micro Four
Thirds (MFT). Equivalent to a 85mm f/1.9 lens (in terms of angle of
view and depth of field), the Voigtländer Nokton 42mm f/0.95 comprises
eleven elements in eight groups and comes with a stepless 10-blade
diaphragm. The lens takes standard 58mm filters and focuses down to
23cm. Availability is slated for Summer 2013, with pricing to be
communicated.
