Sony A77 and NEX-7 Full Specs, Announcement on Aug. 24, Available in September/October

Sony A77

August is shaping up to be a pretty huge month for now prosumer/pro camera gear.  In addition to Nikon’s announcement, it looks like August 24 will be Sony’s big announcement date for the new Alpha models (A77 and A65) and NEX models (NEX-7 and NEX-5N).
After the big announcement from Sony, the A77 and NEX-7 are expected to be available in Japan in September – with US availability coming in October.
As for specifications, it looks like those have leaked out across multiple sources as well.

Sony A77 Specifications

The A65 is expected to be a lower-grade version of the A77.  The overall specifications should be similar to the A77; however, the following differences are rumored to be the separating points between the two cameras.
