The Canon EOS 700D (marketed as the Canon EOS Rebel T5i in North America) is a new digital SLR camera with an APS-C sized 18-megapixel Hybrid CMOS sensor, DIGIC 5 processor and a 5fps continuous shooting mode. The EOS 700D’s advanced AF module consists of 9 cross-type sensors spread across the frame, and a new, simplified 360° rotating mode dial to provide easy and swift access to the camera’s various shooting modes. A 3” varia-angle Clear View LCD II touchscreen makes it easy for users to frame, shoot and review from a variety of angles. When shooting in Live View mode, the Hybrid CMOS AF system enables speedy and accurate autofocus for photos and video, the company claims. The Canon EOS 700D is available from late April, with an SRP of £629.99 / €799.99 / $749.99.

The camera will also be sold in a bundle with the new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens for £759.99 / €969.99 / $899.99.
In America, the Canon EOS 700D / Rebel T5i will additionally be available in a kit with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens for $1099.99.

Canon unveils the smallest and lightest DSLR ever made, the EOS 100D, alongside the EOS 700D to let your creativity grow

United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, 21 March 2013 – Canon today unveils two new first-class additions to its entry-level consumer DSLR line-up – the EOS 700D and the smallest and lightest APS-C DSLR ever made[1] the EOS 100D. Complemented by the introduction of a new standard zoom lens, the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.

The EOS 100D offers a range of simple controls and a helpful in-camera feature guide, perfect for those looking to explore the world of DSLR photography for the first time but without the bulk normally associated with a DSLR. The EOS 100D – a DSLR you’ll never want to leave behind
