The new Joby UltraFit range of camera straps for men and women are now on sale in the UK. Originally announced at Photokina 2012, the straps are designed to accommodate both CSC and DSLR cameras
and are available in a quick-draw, cross-body design for men and women,
in addition to a versatile 3-way wearing option. The Joby team
conducted extensive user studies with more than 500 photography
professionals and enthusiasts and pinpointed how camera straps should
fit and move on the body. This research resulted in the patent-pending
UltraFit Sling Strap (pictured), built with Joby’s exclusive UltraFit
Layered-Pad Technology for lightweight support without the bulk of thick
padding. The 3-Way Camera Strap
offers photographers a versatile and portable solution with three
wearing modes: wrist, neck and shoulder. A convenient alternative to
wrapping a neck/shoulder strap around the wrist, this compact strap
allows shooters to minimize muscle fatigue with multiple ways to support
the weight of the camera. The UltraFit Sling Strap is available now for
£41. The 3-Way Camera Strap retails for £33.

Joby UltraFit Sling Strap™
The Joby team conducted extensive
research to pinpoint exactly how camera straps should fit and move on
the body – recognising the very different body shapes of men and women
and the different design elements required for both functionality and
comfort.
In both versions the Joby SpeedCinch™
system secures both camera and strap close to the body, freeing up the
photographers hands and ensuring the camera is secure while shooting in
busy environments.
When the camera is required, the
system automatically extends the strap length in one fluid and fast
motion – allowing the photographer to bring the camera to eye level in
one easy movement - never missing a shot.
For ultimate safety and security, both
versions of the Joby UltraFit Sling Strap use premium materials
including stainless steel and glass-filled nylon plastic – providing
super durability and a secure connection via a ¼ - 20” accessory thread
mount.
Joby 3 Way Camera Strap™
Joby designed this versatile 3-way strap to offer photographers a strap with three wearing modes: Wrist, neck and shoulder.
A convenient alternative to wrapping a
neck or shoulder strap around the wrist, this compact strap allows
photographers to minimize muscle fatigue with multiple ways to support
the weight of the camera. The 3-Way Camera Strap™ allows quick access to
impromptu shots in wrist mode or a hands-free option to change lenses
in neck/shoulder mode. The breakthrough design uses retractable Dyneema®
cord (which is 15 times stronger than steel wire!) to adjust the strap
length and secure the camera in place.
Pricing: UltraFit Sling Strap – SRP £41.00, 3 Way Camera Strap – SRP £33.00
