The Plugin Site Releases ColorStyler

Press Release
The Plugin Site released the ColorStyler Plugin and Standalone
The Plugin Site (http://www.ThePluginSite.com) is pleased to announce the ColorStyler software, which is the seventh product in the popular PhotoWiz series. ColorStyler provides impressive photo effects, recreates traditional film effects and gives photos a special style. It features more than 20 effect types, 600 presets and plenty of masking options for applying the effect only to selected areas of a photo.
Overview
ColorStyler reproduces the whole workflow of color film photography from shooting a photo to processing it in the lab and framing the end result. It recreates the look of color films, lens filters, lab effects and photo papers that are popular in traditional color photography, but it even goes far beyond that. With the help of more than 600 built-in presets you can transform dull photos into interesting color pictures. ColorStyler lets you enrich images by colorizing them, manipulating brightness, contrast, color and saturation, masking certain image areas, adding soft focus and glow effects, simulating film grain, adding special effects, framing the image and more.
For Beginners as well as Experts
oColorStyler contains modes for inexperienced, intermediate and advanced users that let you gradually add and tweak effects and improve your image one by one. Easy Mode displays thumbnails of all 600 presets and offers the most important controls for further adjusting a selected preset. Photography Mode lets you quickly combine up to 12 different groups of presets, e.g. color film types, film grain simulations, lens filters, lab development strategies, paper types, special lab effects, vignettes, frames and many more. These effects can be further adjusted in Advanced Mode. Quick Edit Mode offers the most useful controls for quickly enhancing images whereas Advanced Mode provides full control over all effects with dozens of features and controls.
Sophisticated Functionality
ColorStyler also offers various features already known from our PhotoWiz plugins. There are three preview tab sheets for quickly comparing and adjusting three versions of the image at the same time. A Navigator tab sheet lets you quickly scroll the preview image and the preview zoom can be set between 6 and 3200%. Fifteen types of histograms help you tweak your images without damaging them. ColorStyler also supports multi-core CPUs for faster rendering and can be used as a smart filter in Photoshop.
On the other hand ColorStyler contains several innovative features. Preset thumbnails help you to choose the appropriate effects by letting you see the effect without applying it. The new curve tool allows you to visually and precisely adjust brightness, contrast, color and saturation in the shadows, midtones and highlights. A masking brush tool gives you absolute control over which image areas ColorStyler changes and which it keeps untouched. New UI features let you reposition or expand main UI elements to better match your workflow.
Why ColorStyler Is Different
ColorStyler combines a whole range of photographic effects and tools in a single plugin, which saves you time and allows you to creatively enhance your photos according to your imagination. Unlike many other tools, ColorStyler also supplies many efficient masking features, including a masking brush tool. Best of all, ColorStyler is available at an affordable price and offers more features and possibilities than other tools in the same price range.
Availability & System Requirements
ColorStyler is currently available as a Photoshop-compatible plugin for Windows as well as a standalone application. A plugin version for MacOS X will follow soon. The plugin works in more than 80 image processing applications, including Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro, GIMP, PhotoFiltre and IrfanView. The standalone can also be used as an external editor in Lightroom, ACDSee, Bibble and Corel AfterShot Pro. All versions support batch processing and process RGB images with 8-bit and 16-bit/channel. The standalone supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, PSD, Camera Raw and DNG image formats among others.
ColorStyler costs USD 69.95 (Academic/educational license: USD 39.95). A demo version can be downloaded from

Micro Four Thirds fans get new top-drawer lens from Olympus
Extra-bright lens quality meets full-metal style
Prime Portrait lens is also ideal for low light and sports
LONDON, 24 May 2012 – For owners of Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras, a new lens has to offer more than stunning optical quality –the design has to live up to the beautiful, retro-styled O-MD and PEN series as well. The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75mm 1:1.8 (150mm*) ‘Prime Portrait’ lens ticks all those boxes and more. The ideal choice for portraits, high-speed indoor sports and stage shooting in low light, it has the sleek, full-metal housing to match its impressive specifications and spotless optical performance. From picture-book bokeh to virtually silent, high-speed autofocus, this large-aperture beauty has everything the serious enthusiast could ask for. The Prime Portrait lens is available from July 2012, for a remarkably low £799.
High speed, low reflection, next to no aberration
The large aperture of the new Olympus lens is perfect for low-light and high-speed photography. Combined with the long focal length, it also helps generate the shallow depth of field needed to highlight subjects against an intentionally blurred background – an ideal effect for shooting portraits. For sheer quality, ZUIKO’s ultra-high precision assembling and polishing technology puts the Prime Portrait neck and neck with the fantastic ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 150mm 1:2.0. Clear and sharp images are a matter of course, with edge-to-edge high contrast and resolution.Lightweight and compact, the Prime Portrait is a pleasure to work with in manual mode. The all-metal design has a reassuringly premium feel and the fine-tuned focus ring is a cinch to use. The ZUIKO Extra-low Reflection Optical (ZERO) coating is twice as effective as conventional coatings, giving you the confidence to shoot in bright light without fear of ghosting and flaring. What’s more, this lens also delivers reliable circular bokeh without the dreaded vignetting or off-axis aberration.
Several optional all-metal accessories are available to round off a sleek lens package, including the LH-61F lens hood (£69.90) and the LC-61 lens cap (£39.90), both from Olympus. The RRP for the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75mm 1:18 Prime Portrait lens is £799.
* 35mm equivalent.

Fujifilm X-Pro1 M Mount Adapter

Fujifilm M Mount Adapter enables the X-Pro1 compact system camera to be used with Leica M mount lenses. The M Mount adapter comprises three parts; an aluminium mount for the body, a stainless steel mount for the lens plus an aluminium central tube, which accurately maintains a 27.8mm distance from lens mount to sensor. A new firmware version, 1.10, will be made available to support the new adapter. The Fujifilm M Mount Adapter will be available in June and will cost approx. £179 in the UK.
Fujifilm UK Press Release
Fujifilm M Mount Adapter adds further appeal to ground-breaking X-Pro1
24 May 2012 - Fujifilm are proud to announce the launch of the Fujifilm M Mount Adapter, which adds even greater levels of versatility to the innovative X-Pro1. The adapter enables the X-Pro1 to be used with M mount lenses – or those built to the same specification – and are optimised to ensure the best possible results are achieved both from lenses and camera body.
Precision engineering for perfect results
In just the same way that the X-Pro1 is built to exacting design standards, the M Mount Adapter employs precision engineering to deliver superb results for discerning photographers.
The adapter comprises three parts; an aluminium mount for the body, a stainless steel mount for the lens plus an aluminium central tube. This construction enables the Fujifilm designers to accurately maintain a 27.8mm distance from lens mount to sensor, which is crucial for the delivery of high quality images.
The camera side of the M Mount Adapter features an array of electronic connections that automatically pass information to the X-Pro1 body based on pre-registered lens profiles. With firmware version 1.10 or later, this information is transmitted by pressing the Function button on the side of the adapter, which allows users to access the Mount Adapter Settings menu on the rear LCD.
Furthermore, with M Mount lenses attached, users can still enjoy the benefits of the X-Pro1’s Hybrid Multi Viewfinder. The Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) and LCD monitor both offer a 100% field of view, while on selected lenses the Optical Viewfinder (OVF) displays a bright frame corresponding to the focal length in use.
Lens correction settings provide ultimate control
To ensure the Fujifilm M Mount Adapter delivers optimum results, users can create and fine tune lens profiles through the X-Pro1’s Mount Adapter Settings menu. This menu allows X-Pro1 users to profile up to six lenses. There are four presets for 21mm, 24mm, 28mm and 35mm lenses, plus two optional settings for additional optics.
With the Fujifilm M Mount Adapter attached, profiles can be user-defined based around distortion, peripheral illumination and colour shading corrections.
Three levels of distortion correction are available to combat barrel distortion on wide-angle lenses and pincushion distortion on telephoto lenses. Users can select from Strong, Medium or Weak correction, or simply turn any correction off.
Peripheral illumination controls the amount of darkening at the four corners of an image. Eleven levels of correction can be applied from +5 to -5 (including “0”) with users given the choice of darkening the corners of the image to emphasise a central subject or lightening edges for more even illumination across the frame.
Finally, colour shading correction allows each corner of the frame to be colour corrected to combat any shift in colour between the centre and edges of the frame. Corrections can be made to red/cyan colour shading and blue/yellow colour shading from -9 to +9 relative to the green channel.
The Fujifilm M Mount Adapter is available bundled the “gauge” checking the compatibility for the M Mount lens.
Fujifilm M Mount Adapter key features
• Three-piece aluminium and stainless steel construction
• 27.8mm lens mount to sensor distance
• Electronic connections and Function button
• Compatible with Hybrid Multi Viewfinder
• Lens profiles and corrections available through Mount Adapter Setting menu (firmware version 1.10 or later must be installed for using above features)
*The firmware ver 1.10 will be available on the Fujifilm Global website in June/2012.

DxO Optics Pro v7.5 is now faster overall, including quicker processing, and can handle much larger files, among them those of the Nikon D800 and its 36-megapixel full-frame sensor*.
*Given the file sizes of the D800, this camera is supported only by the 64-bit version of DxO Optics Pro v7.5. (Requires a 64-bit system.)
The lab: the secrets of DxO optical corrections
Thanks to its library of more than 6,000 optics modules, DxO Optics Pro automatically corrects all optical flaws such as distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and lack of sharpness - with a level of incomparable quality.
DxO optics modules are developed in our labs through a scientific calibration process for each combination of cameras and lenses. They contain tens of thousands of digital data points about the intrinsic limitations of each piece of equipment. This allows DxO Optics Pro to apply corrections that are perfectly tailored to each image.
Enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes video visit to our laboratory and discover the different steps of DxO Labs’ calibration process.
Numerous improvements to the interface
The interface of the Windows version of DxO Optics Pro v7.5 has been enhanced with numerous features to make it even more pleasant to use.

* The image filter menu has been improved to allow easier and quicker photo selection.
* With Windows 7, it is possible to see the processing progress in the task bar.
* Many other small improvments, notably additional keyboard shortcuts.
An improved activation system

No Strings Attached: Sleek, Connected and Cloud-Based Action Video Camera Launches in US
New ION AIR PRO camera makes it easy and fun to capture and share HD videos and stills of life’s most moving moments
SOMERSET, N.J.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—ION Worldwide, a global consumer electronics company, today announced immediate worldwide availability of a new, wearable sports-action camera that makes it easy to capture and share high-definition video and still images of life’s most moving moments… whether they take place on the slopes, in the surf, on a single-track bike trail or while playing with the family at the local park. The new ION AIR PRO™ HD Sports Video Camera with Wi-Fi PODZ™ is the first action camera that allows users to shoot and share their videos instantly via Wi-Fi using the free ION CAMERA app for iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod).
Designed for professionals and consumers alike, the aerodynamic, lightweight and easy-to-use ION AIR PRO Wi-Fi camera features a number of significant industry firsts, including Wi-Fi connectivity and free cloud storage. The unique ION PODZ system – thin, circular discs that attach onto the back of the basic camera, adding virtually no weight or volume — extends the capabilities of the ION AIR PRO. With the ION Wi-Fi PODZ and ION app, users can control camera functions and settings, view the action as it happens as a livestream, and replay or immediately upload footage to Facebook, YouTube, or share it via email.
The ION AIR PRO comes with 8GB of free cloud-based storage powered by MiMedia.com. With this ION CLOUD, users can easily upload and access their video clips from any smartphone, tablet or computer.
“The point-of-view camcorder segment, driven by action-sports models, is the fastest growing segment in digital imaging. Yet this segment needs to get to the next level, with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and cloud storage,” said Chris Chute, research manager, Worldwide Digital Imaging Practice, IDC. “Smaller, younger and nimbler companies, like ION, can rapidly meet market changes with products like the ION AIR PRO.”
Additional ION AIR PRO features that set it apart from others in the market include:
Lightest weight, most aerodynamically designed: The low-profile, 4.5 oz. ION AIR PRO is one of the lightest, most wind-resistant action cameras on the market.
HD video quality: HD wide-angle lens records in 1080p, 960p, and 720p resolutions as well as WQVGA with a field of view up to 170 degrees. The ION AIR PRO also features Dual File recording, capturing both an HD and a lower-resolution WQVGA file simultaneously to allow for easier sharing to social networking sites and faster upload times.
Waterproof without additional housing and waterproof microphone: The ION AIR PRO is waterproof up to 30 feet (10 meters) with no need for an additional outer case. Its waterproof microphone enables high-quality audio.
One-click capture: A single press of a button starts or stops recording, and the camera vibrates to confirm both start and stop (very handy when the camera is mounted out of eyesight). High-quality, 5-megapixel still-image capture (single shot, time lapse and 10-photo burst modes) is also possible with a single click.
CamLOCK™ system: ION’s versatile mount system allows users to quickly and easily attach, remove and rotate the ION AIR PRO camera on any type of helmet (bike, motorcycle, ski, skydive etc.), pole, board (surf, skate, ski etc.) or handlebar (bike and motorcycle). It enables users to get a different angle without having to remount the camera; they can simply swivel the camera to a new position while recording.
There are currently five different packages offered by ION, including three basic ION camera options:
ION AIR PRO (MSRP: $229.99) – an HD sports video camera that comes with a mini tripod, travel power adapter, USB & AV cables, CamLOCK™ mechanism and pouch.

ION AIR PRO Wi-Fi (MSRP: $349.99) – the ION AIR PRO PLUS package with a Wi-Fi PODZ to allow for instant connectivity to the ION app.
Additional add-on kits that can be purchased include:

PENTAX Introduces smc DA 50mm f/1.8 Medium-Telephoto Lens
Compact, lightweight autofocus lens designed exclusively for PENTAX K-Mount interchangeable-lens digital cameras
Denver, CO (May 21, 2012) – PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION today announces the introduction of its new smc PENTAX-DA 50mm f/1.8 medium-telephoto autofocus lens, which is designed exclusively for use with the company’s K-mount interchangeable-lens (ILC) digital cameras. Thanks to state-of-the-art optical design technology from PENTAX, the lens’ image coverage is optimized for PENTAX K-mount ILC cameras to deliver sharp, clear images from edge to edge. With a sleek, modern look and a lightweight body, the new PENTAX-DA 50mm f/1.8 lens was designed with versatility and flexibility in mind and is ideal for photographers of varying levels, from amateurs to professionals.
“The new PENTAX-DA 50mm f/1.8 lens is ideal for photographers interested in portraiture and general photography,” explains John Carlson, Sr., Manager of Sales and Marketing, PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION. “The lens measures just 1.5 inches long and weighs only 4.3 ounces, making it small enough and light enough to accompany photographers on all kinds of outings.”
When mounted on a PENTAX K-mount ILC camera body, the PENTAX-DA 50mm f/F1.8 lens delivers a focal length of 50mm or 76.5mm in the 35mm format. The lens’ f/1.8 maximum aperture and round diaphragm blades enable it to produce a natural “bokeh” (out-of-focus) effect, which gives the blurry elements in an image a softer, rounded and more pleasing appearance. Additionally, the f/1.8 aperture makes it possible to increase camera shutter speed when photographing in poorly lit conditions, which minimizes camera shake and helps eliminate blur.
For extra preventative measures, the front surface of the PENTAX-DA 50mm f/1.8 lens is treated with the company’s original SP (Super Protect) coating, which repels dust, water, grease, and other substances that may adhere to the surface of the lens. The protective coating promotes trouble-free use in all kinds of shooting situations.
The PENTAX-DA 50mm f/1.8 lens will be available July 2012 with a retail price of $249.95.

Nauticam NA-5DMKIII underwater housing for Canon 5D Mark III camera

Nauticam announced a new underwater housing NA-5DMKIII for Canon 5D Mark III. With a depth rating of 100m, the NA-5DMKIII will be available on June 1st, for $3600.

Press release and additional images:

Nauticam NA-5DMKIII Innovation Underwater
As the international leader in innovative underwater camera housing technology, Nauticam is pleased to announce support for the 22mp Canon 5D Mark III. The NA-5DMKIII housing builds on Nauticam’s solid reputation for ergonomic functions, extensive control options and ease of operation while upholding the robust quality standards that have become a hallmark of the Nauticam brand. Nauticam takes great pride in delivering excellence well beyond expectations.
Canon 5D Mark III
Canon 5D Mark III improves upon the ground breaking 5D Mark II in every way. This camera shares the fast 61 point autofocus system from Canon’s flagship 1Dx, a 22 megapixel imager with class leading low light performance, 6 frames per second continuous shooting, and a more intuitive control layout. Rather than an upgraded Canon 5D Mark II, this camera could be more appropriately viewed as a full frame Canon 7D with its enhancements to ergonomics, focus accuracy and speed, and continuous shooting ability.
Canon 5D Mark II was a remarkable advancement in video production, providing a cinematic look and feel with outstanding low light performance that has been used in feature films, low budget documentaries, and enthusiast videography. 5D Mark III improves this feature set substantially with new video features, including an ALL-I compression that requires less computing power to edit and more color correction latitude.

Nauticam NA-5DMKIII
The NA-5DMKIII underwater housing custom built for Canon 5D Mark III is a refinement of the acclaimed design used in NA-7D for Canon 7D. Nauticam took Canon SLR housing ergonomics to another level with relocated command dials and piano keys found on NA-7D, and has built upon these advancements with NA-5DMKIII.
The industry leading engineering of the existing Nauticam housings is obvious with the easy and secure locking latch system, unrivalled port lock lever, piano keys that relocate key controls for easy handle access, and the exceptional interchangeable viewfinders.
Imaging Prowess at Your Fingertips
Designed by photographers for those who demand the best, the NA-5DMKIII puts the controls that matter where they can easily be used. Gripping the comfortable rubberized handles, it is obvious you are in command of a professional tool. While never releasing grip, the right forefinger activates Nauticam’s patented two stage shutter release. The gearing in this control allows the photographer to precisely feel the half and full press positions of the shutter release for exact focus control.
Large diameter knurled wheels control the Main Dial and Quick Control Dials. These dials are simple to operate with a single finger, and their large size and tactile feel allows easier operation while wearing cold water gloves. These key controls change f-stop and shutter speed, and are also an easy way to scroll through camera menus.
The right thumb can quickly activate a new double paddle lever assembly that operates both AF-On and Movie Record. AF-On is an essential control, used to activate focus by default, but reassignable for focus and exposure lock. The ergonomic placement of movie record is important, allowing clips to be started and stopped while minimizing camera movement.
The 5D Mark III Live View/Movie Switch is placed at the right thumb, allowing quick changes between shooting modes. A lever accessing ISO is also located for fingertip control at the right thumb. ISO is exceptionally important when shooting movie clips with a digital SLR as the primary exposure control, and easy access allows quick exposure changes.
Acclaimed piano key controls on the housing back route Set and Quick Control to the handles, providing convenient access for quick function changes via the Quick Control Menu.
Focus Point Selector is a gentle reach from the right handle, allowing easy movement between the 61 autofocus points (five of which are a new double cross type, and 41 of which are cross type sensors).
The camera’s multi-controller joystick is activated via a multi-controller pad that allows diagonal movement in addition to the more common up / down / left / right functions.
At the left handle, playback is easily reached by the left thumb. A fingertip zoom / focus control allows easy operation of zoom lenses or manual focus with accessory lens gears.
Of course, all the requisite function buttons are appropriately positioned around the easily viewed LCD window and will function with exacting precision at any depth up to 100 meters.
All of these ergonomic refinements are in pursuit of one goal: The most ergonomic underwater imaging system possible. Nauticam NA-5DMKIII allows the camera operator to access all key camera controls with their hands on the handles, and their eye on the viewfinder or external video monitor.
In addition to carefully considering control placement for the ultimate in ease of operation in water, Nauticam has also put considerable effort into features that allow easier camera loading. No controls require pre-setting before installing a camera into the housing, eliminating the possibility of wasted dives to do incorrect camera installation.

Standard Features That Are Anything But Standard
Nauticam pioneered numerous engineering breakthroughs in previous housings that are integrated into NA-5DMKIII.
The housing Locking Latch System has received acclaim worldwide for its ease and functionality. These recessed latches are equipped with safety locks to eliminate accidental opening, yet require minimal hands strength to operate. These locking latches will not pinch fingers like stainless steel buckles can.
Port changes have never been simpler than utilizing the Patented Nauticam Locking Port Release. No wrestling, no twisting, no misalignment - just seat and lock. Lens changes are also easily accomplished without removing the camera from the housing via the lens release button logically accessed on the housing front.
The lightweight, rugged Nauticam handles are generously contoured with a durable over-mold process of comfortable non-slip soft touch rubber. Virtually any hand size can be accommodated with spacers available for cold-water glove use.
All Nauticam housings are machined from a solid block of seawater resistant aluminum alloy and then hard anodized making them impervious to corrosion. Hardware is marine grade stainless steel. Clear acrylic windows are protected with a scratch resistant coating.
Clearly Superior Vision
A high performance camera like the Canon 5D Mark III demands perfect focus for optimal results. Fortunately, Nauticam has developed the most user-friendly interchangeable precision viewfinders in the world. The standard optical glass viewfinder is very good and travel friendly on large bright viewfinder, but many photographers prefer the ease of a magnified viewfinder with dioptric adjustment. Nauticam produces a “straight” 180° enlarging viewfinder and a 45° angled enlarging viewfinder to enhance the ease of close quarters work often associated with macro shooting. Both viewfinders have high quality optics allow viewing of the entire image. A patented external dioptric adjustment allows personal adjustment to a sharp-as-a-tack standard underwater and viewfinder changes can be executed in less than 30 seconds without using tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy have never been more accessible.

Illumination by Design
Lighting control is key to any successful underwater photography system. The NA-5DMKIII delivers professional diversity to meet every challenge. A single Nikonos sync port is included with each housing as standard equipment. S-6 or Ikelite style sync port bulkheads are available optionally, and can easily be installed or removed in the field. For more flexibility, a future hot shoe to fiber optic trigger capability will be available and will utilize the two pre-installed secure threaded optical sync connectors. The Nauticam system fiber optic cables are compatible with Inon and Sea & Sea strobes and provide reliable triggering with no electrical connections to maintain or flood.
Accessories to Achieve Imaging Excellence
Nauticam has the most extensive line of high quality optical ports available anywhere and all existing Nauticam DSLR ports will fit the NA-5DMKIII. This port line-up includes the award winning Nauticam White Balance Dome Port with a patented built-in white balance iris that makes in-water white balancing a breeze. Nauticam also provides the industry’s only locking extension rings in every size potentially required, thus preventing port slippage of any kind when using extension rings. Nauticam additionally offers a full range of port adapters allowing existing housing owners to use their current ports, reducing the cost of switching to a Nauticam housing. Port Adapters are available for Aquatica, Ikelite, Inon, Nexus M5 & M6, Sea & Sea NX, Seacam, Subal Version 3 & 4, and Zillion lens ports.
Professional Video Options
If the video capabilities of the 5D Mark III are of primary importance, Nauticam’s NA-DP4 housing for the SmallHD Monitor can take video performance to another level. The monitor housing easily mounts to the top of the NA-D4 and utilizes the optional HDMI Bulkhead for true HDMI connectivity. Utilizing DP4 features like Focus Peaking, Focus Assist, False Color, 1:1 Mapping and DSLR Scale, this larger monitor vastly improves composition, focus capability and exposure visibility.

Canon Rebel T4i/650D Rumored Specs

Canon Rumors believes they have solid word on the short spec list for the upcoming Canon Rebel T4i set to replace the T3i.
- 18MP Sensor
- 9 AF Points, all cross-type
- Touchscreen LCD
- Continuous AF in LiveView & Video Recording
- June Announcement
While the touchscreen LCD is an appropriate feature for a Canon Rebel model and the 9 cross-type AF points are enticing, the continuous AF in video recording is the one feature that makes me raise an eyebrow in this spec list. To date, Canon has whiffed on live view contrast-detect AF systems in their DSLRs. It has simply been a joke on every DSLR that featured contrast AF. Hopefully, if this spec is for real, maybe Canon has gotten over that hump and will offer something as functional and useful as what Sony is doing on its NEX line of cameras.
Based on this initial rumored spec list, a functional continuous AF system for video capture is the one thing that could make the Rebel T4i camera a must-have over the Rebel T3i that it replaces.

Ideal for travel and everyday shooting, it’s a great way to boost your maximum focal length without carrying extra hardware.

Shared with all α SLT cameras, SteadyShot INSIDE cuts the effects of camera shake by up to 4.0 stops for clearer handheld images with any A-mount lens.
The α37 takes the guesswork out of choosing the right camera settings for virtually any shooting situation. Superior Auto mode intelligently recognises a wide range of scenes and subjects, adjusting exposure and other picture settings for effortlessly accomplished results.
